We’re already excited about Target’s upcoming home decor line, Project 62—and now, they’re upping their game in the furnishings department once again. The retail giant just announced an exciting new collaboration—and it’s with none other than everyone’s favorite design couple (and stars of Fixer Upper) Chip and Joanna Gaines.
Starting on November 5, the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia collection will be available at Target stores nationwide, as well as online. According to the press release, the line will include over 300 items, and span tabletop accessories, larger decor items, and linens. (How chic are those grey and white striped napkins?) And while the full collection ranges from $0.99 to $129.99, most items are slated to be under $30.
This partnership with Target marks Magnolia’s first time working with a retailer. Initially launched in 2003 (and then re-opened in 2014), Magnolia Market is a virtual market, but also has a storefront at the Silos in Waco, Texas. It reflects the tastes of its owners, which Joanna describes as “simple, fresh, and timeless.”
While we don't have much info (yet) on the upcoming partnership with Target, it’s safe to say that Fixer Upper fans can expect Magnolia’s signature style to be reflected in the collection—but with a modern twist.
“At the core of the Magnolia brand is the desire to make homes beautiful, but with a focus on family and practicality. We want to create spaces that families want to gather in,” said Joanna in a statement. “Coming together with Target not only allows us to design beautiful pieces for people all over the country, it also allows us to help communities in a bigger way than we could have ever imagined.”
This focus on helping communities is definitely at the forefront of this partnership. For starters, Magnolia will work with Target House—an apartment-style, long-term housing facility that provides free lodging to patients and families of patients at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital—at the hospital to redesign the living room in time for the holidays.
And in even more good news, the collection isn’t a limited edition, one-time thing. That’s right: You’ll be able to shop exclusive Magnolia-designed pieces at Target stores nationwide for multiple years to come.
“Partnering with Chip and Joanna to create a modern farmhouse collection available only at Target allows us to offer an aesthetic we know our guests will love, and the quality and affordable prices can’t be beat,” said Target executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Mark Tritton, in a statement. “That’s the magic of Target, and we can’t wait for our guests to enjoy this collection for years to come.”
