Coastal Italy beckons year round, but a seaside spritz and sprawling out under an umbrella just hit better on the hottest days of the year. Lulu and Georgia’s latest collection eyes summer through this Mediterranean lens, stacked with superb stripes, minty greens paired with terracotta reds, and slim metal profiles. Among the new releases is a capsule of additions to Sarah Sherman Samuel’s outdoor line, including a fresh line of teak furniture, a sofa version of her Marisol lounger, scalloped concrete tables, and patterned throw pillows.

“I like outdoor furniture to be big and loungey with room for everyone to pile on,” says Samuel. “One of my favorite parts of the Abbot sectional is its extra deep seat and endless length configurations. You can make it as big as you have the room for.” She also acknowledges the back detail, which mimics the dining chair. “It’s beautiful from all angles, which is important for outdoor furniture as it is often viewed from both sides floating in the yard.”
And while stripes are a classic pattern, the designer introduced a few additional motifs inspired by nature in the Lovett and Satu designs, the former of which adorns pillows, a rug, and even an umbrella. “It’s [an] abstract and loose sketch of a form that could be a leaf—my original inspiration—or it could be a plant or a shell,” she adds.
