Whether your home is prone to accidental crumb trails, shedding pets, or little humans gleefully spilling everything everywhere, owning a quality vacuum is an absolute must (for basically anyone). The market is crowded, to say the least, but we’ve tested all kinds of models, like battery-powered options, classic canisters, and runs-on-their-own robots. The best of the best is pricey, though, so Labor Day weekend is an ideal time to pick one up. We rounded up a few deals from our favorite brands, including $200 off select Dyson models and $650 off Roborock bundles. Consult our list to decide which best suits your cleaning needs (and budget), below.
Up to $200 Off Select Vacuums From Dyson
To effectively tackle those lint-filled, hard-to-reach cracks and crevices, spring for an editor-favorite Dyson. Snag the V8 (our go-to) for $190 off or upgrade to our overall favorite, the V15, while it’s $150 off. Suck up any pesky fur balls with the pet hair–collecting Dyson Ball Animal 2 Total Clean, too, which is $200 off. You’ll have until August 31 to choose for most, but the Dyson Outsize is $200 off through September 4.
Up to $200 Off Vacuums From Samsung
There’s all kinds of cleaning tech on sale at Samsung this Labor Day, from smart robot vacs to cordless stick types, but the latest addition to its lineup is the one we’re after. We were already impressed by the Bespoke Jet’s adjustable height, freestanding charging station, and four interchangeable heads to tackle wood, tile, and carpets—but now all of that is powered by AI. It’s more robust (a 25% increase in suction strength), runs longer, and taps into an automatic cleaning mode based on floor type and dirt level.
Up to $100 Off Select Vacuums From Tineco
A few of our favorite Tineco vacuums are up to $100 off through September 8. The wet-dry models are just as efficient at sucking up crumbs as they are droplets of ketchup, according to our associate editor, Raven McMillan. After testing one, she noted that the machine’s auto mode never steered her wrong with the proper amount of suction, water, and detergent to handle messes, sometimes in just one pass. In addition to Walmart, we spotted the same deals at a few major retailers where the brand is sold, including Best Buy and Target.
Up to $650 Off Vacuums From Roborock
Roborock’s Anniversary Sale is on. You can save up to $650 on a range of its cordless cleaners, especially if you’re open to bundling. Plus you can get the new S8 and Dyad Pro, the brand’s wet-dry vacuums, at a steep discount when you buy them together. Otherwise the S7 is 45% off, the Q5 is 40% off, and the S8 alone is $400 off.
Up to 55% Off Vacuums From Electrolux
Through September 13, select vacuums from Electrolux will sport discounts as great as 50%. We’d go for the sleek Ultimate800—the brand’s line of cordless cleaners that hold a charge for 60 minutes of run time and come with up to five attachments, depending on which model you go with. The best deal, in our opinion, is on the PetPro+, which is marked down 30% to $418 on Amazon.
Up to 42% Off Roombas From iRobot
Backed by nearly 20,000 positive reviews on Amazon, the top-rated iRobot Roomba 694 is currently $100 off its original asking price. This mini machine is able to zoom around your hardwood and carpets without any hiccups, equipped with advanced sensors that allow it to identify your flooring, adjust suction power, and avoid other obstacles like furniture in its cleaning path. Other discounted models include the j7 (42% off, and the self-emptying upgrade is 34% off) and the i3 EVO (29% off).
36% Off CordZero Stick Vacuum From LG
A part of LG’s Labor Day sale, this snazzy stick vacuum is $249 off. Benefits include 120 minutes of uninterrupted performance; a power nozzle attachment to remove hidden dust deeply embedded in soft surfaces like mattresses and sofas; and a washable filter and cyclone system that’s easy to maintain.
