Dare we say it’s as versatile as the Billy bookcase?

It wouldn’t be a shock to find a Billy bookcase in someone’s living room or a Malm dresser in their bedroom. But the last place we’d expect to see IKEA furniture is at the office (not the home kind, the corporate kind). That’s exactly what inspired the Swedish retailer to release 85 new products, all geared toward our changing hybrid office needs and the desire to feel more at home when we’re at work. The Mittzon collection is IKEA’s largest office system to date and will be available in stores and online the beginning of July, with more products already slated to be added to the line in 2025.

But wait: Before you forward this news to your boss and close out, let us actually break down what’s in the Mittzon collection. Because after browsing through the newly released catalog images, we were surprised to find there are a ton of pieces that will work in your home, too.

For Your Closet

So you have a spare room that you want to transform into a walk-in closet. Instead of splurging on custom millwork, line the walls with clothing racks. Unlike the typical shiny metal ones, these racks are powder-coated white (down to the caster wheels!), which keeps the focus on your wardrobe.

For Your Home Office

Get ready to get comfy. IKEA worked with ergonomics experts to design its modular standing desks and chairs. While Mittzon products are backed by a 10-year guarantee, you won’t have to worry much about the desks: They are made out of fade-resistant wood veneer and high-strength steel.

For Your Kid’s Room

When your little one is just starting out reading, there’s no need to put a massive bookshelf in their space. Start with a handful of these colorful cubbies, then slowly add more as their library grows.

For Your Craft Room or Basement

A low cabinet with large sliding doors is a storage hero for toy bins, board games, craft supplies, miscellaneous tools, paper towel overflow—you get the idea.

For Your Small Space

This divider’s job is twofold: It can help differentiate areas within an open space and offer a quiet spot to take Zoom calls. The screen’s filling is wood fiber, a recyclable material made of more than 90 percent wood.
