The holiday shopping season is officially here, and Google just released its list of 100 favorite gift ideas, based on trending searches throughout the year. And as editors who see hundreds (if not thousands!) of products come into our in-boxes and lives—we have thoughts. Good ones! In fact, many of the items in the home category are ones we’ve tested or bought throughout the years, and so we can personally vouch for these eight, below.

Solo Stove Mesa Firepit

This popular pick always ends up in our roundups of the best outdoor firepits. Not only is it smokeless and small-space approved, it comes in seven chic color options.

Yeti Cooler

Our chief creative officer, Kate Berry, relies on her Yeti cooler for serving up drinks during summertime hangs on her city patio, aptly named Garden in the Sky

Our shopping managing editor, Samantha Weiss-Hills, uses her crates to keep laundry soap and accessories contained; associate shopping editor Morgan Bulman has them in her linen closet to corral everything from sunscreen to TP; and I use a medium one to hold board games on an open shelf. Need we say more?

Bulman recently wrote about this handy spinning scrub brush that can make even a rental shower seem brand-new. The long-lasting battery and intense cleaning power make it a must-have in your cleaning kit.

Jolie Filtered Showerhead

The minute I swapped my rental’s showerhead for the Jolie, I noticed a serious difference in my skin and hair—that’s because it filters out chlorine, heavy metal, and contaminants that can be drying. More than a year after installing it, it’s still going strong. (This reminds me that I need to buy a new filter!)

Cadence Capsules

It used to be that I’d never pack a bag without my Cadence capsules, but ever since a product upgrade earlier this year, now I use them daily for pills, too.

Infrared Sauna Blankets

There’s no way I could fit an actual sauna in my apartment, so my Higherdose sauna blanket is the next best thing, especially in the winter months when I don’t mind snuggling up in a sweaty burrito.
