This is “In Our Carts,” a monthly series in which I’ll round up my and other editors’ favorite product launches. They’re taken straight from our #editors-picks Slack channel, where our team drops the many press releases that fill our inboxes. I sort through them for the best of the best. That way, you can read just about the good stuff—nothing more and nothing less.
Wonder Valley and Studio Ford Created Block-Printed Table Linens
Why, yes, the partnership between Cali body-care and home brand Wonder Valley and L.A. textile atelier Studio Ford produced exactly what we want to put on our tables this holiday. The cotton-linen–blend tablecloth and napkin set are block printed in one-of-a-kind patterns by craftspeople in Jaipur, India—and the colors are perfectly seasonal without treading too much into traditional.
Big Night Got Into Bedding and Bath
Big Night busted out of the kitchen with a four-piece capsule collection alongside Far West, the creative studio behind the design of El Cosmico and Hotel San Jose among others. The red and sand color combo keeps the vibe decidedly more laid-back than preppy—and there’s a 100% cotton duvet, pillowcases, eye mask, and robe to choose from.
Assembly Line Brought Rye to the U.S.
When we zipped around Copenhagen during the city’s annual design festival this year, we happened to pop into the showroom of Danish furniture brand Rye. As luck would have it, the gorgeous bed frames and side tables are now available in the U.S. exclusively through Assembly Line, design studio General Assembly’s storefront. It’s hard to go wrong with any of the not-outrageously-priced solid wood pieces, but we’re fans of the sculptural Hem bed.
Brooklinen and Kule Came Together for a Stripy Collab
It’s stripes on stripes on stripes in this cheerful new collaboration from Brooklyn-based Brooklinen and Kule. That means lots of terry and a little cashmere and some cute smiley faces here and there on superplush towels, robes, Dopp kits, and sweet lounging socks. We’re crushing on the slippers, which would make a truly excellent gift.
Branch Made a Better-Looking Standing Desk
Standing desks made for the home often have bulky feet and never quite look like they fit in. Enter Branch’s latest design: It trades two legs for a standard four, and the slim profile hides four motors that seamlessly lift and lower the desk height. Choose from four different surfaces and two leg finishes, as well as two different sizes, but don’t forget the add-ons like a cable organizer and lamp.
Lulu and Georgia Tapped Lolly Lolly Ceramics
Lalese Stamps is the artist behind Lolly Lolly Ceramics, and her recent collaboration with Lulu and Georgia applies the organic shapes of clay to sideboards, sconces, and tableware among other pieces. We’re particularly fond of the Soft Petal table lamp and Dew Drop cereal bowls. This collection isn’t marked down for Black Friday and Cyber Monday—but take a look at our picks from the brand’s sale here.
Areaware Released a Dusen Dusen Nightlight
The most brilliant nightlight we ever did see. Dusen Dusen’s little ball of sunshine could ward off even the Sunday scaries. This cutie is available in three colors and has an automatic sensor; at just $35, it makes a really sweet gift for just about anyone.
Rocco Debuted the Latest Color of Its Beverage Fridge
Hot on the heels of its Las Jaras fridge collab with our November cover star, Eric Wareheim, Rocco went dark with a limited-edition moss green hue. This version of the smart beverage fridge also comes with a few treats: The first 75 people to order one get a bouquet from Fresh Sends (one of our fave flower delivery services), and the first 350 people get one of Kin’s Matchatini bottles and a pack of Bloom cans. A Tyler McGillivary–designed Build a Bouquet magnet set and coaster cards come with every order.
Molly Baz Unveiled Her Own Mayo Brand
If we could choose anyone to innovate in the mayonnaise market, we’d go with Molly Baz. Dubbed Ayoh!, the cookbook author’s line of condiments includes a classic that’s joined by dill pickle, Dijon, and spicy giardiniera takes. The branding is A+ and nods to nostalgia without getting stuck in the past. Our sandwiches won’t know what hit ’em.
Black Friday Scores
There are several brands here that are offering Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals (looking at you, Lulu and Georgia, Brooklinen, and Rocco), but here are other sale items that are also making it into our carts this month.
