The scalloped edges of Botswana-based Mabeo Studio’s new Lesire collection—inspired by South African crochet techniques—don’t fall flat: They read fresh instead. The triangle legs and dark panga panga hardwood have something to do with it, but the repeated pattern on the credenza and bench and the subtle color variation across the wood grain give it all that extra edge of cool (not cutesy).
