When we first spotted DIYer Leah Hodson’s Calacatta Viola marble–clad powder room, we were floored by the decadence of the tiny space. Then we found out that the walls aren’t marble at all. They’re covered in a wall mural that’s designed to look like real stone. Mic drop.

Hodson is based in the U.K., so naturally she chose a product from a European brand, Belarte Studio. Where can we get authentic-looking faux marble wallpaper in the U.S.? Chris and Julia Marcum, the serial renovators behind Chris Loves Julia, must have had the same thought, because they teamed up with WallPops to launch a collection of peel-and-stick wallpaper this month, and the Jade print appears to be genuine stone.

This isn’t the first time the Marcums have successfully re-created the look of marble on a 2D surface. About a year ago, the designer duo created an assortment of marble-effect adhesive vinyl floor tiles for WallPops’s sister company, FloorPops. They couldn’t be easier to apply (no grout or trowels required) and this latest product is no different.

The Jade wall treatment comes in two colors: gray for anyone wanting to achieve the look of Pietra Gray marble and green if Verde Indio is more your speed. Each roll measures 20.5 inches wide and 18 feet long, making it possible to affordably cover a 30-square-foot room with just one order. And when it comes time for a change—or to move out, if you’re a renter—the brand touts that when you pull up on the paper to remove it, it won’t leave a sticky residue behind. We love a clean getaway.
