Pottery Barn’s designer collabs are always inspiring—see Justina Blakeney, Anna Sui, and Monique Lhuillier in the past year alone—but the retail giant’s next move is taking things in a bit of a different direction. Instead of a one-off designer collection, Pottery Barn is launching a new brand, PB Apartment, aimed directly at space space dwellers.
With the average apartment size in the US being only 900 square feet, PB Apartment, which launches January 11, aims to provide products designed with both style and function in mind, specifically for those living in tiny spaces (ahem, team Domino in New York). Pottery Barn first dipped their toes into the micro living world last January with a limited collection, and after it was a huge success, launching a dedicated brand was a natural extension.
A few great options included in the collection are the Thalia Dining Collection, a compact three-piece assortment in a distressed finish (starting at $399), and the Mission Modular System—built to create a workstation or small kitchen space—featuring a pop-up desk, rolling prep cart, and wall cabinets with storage bins and hooks (starting at $6.50).

But that isn’t all PB Apartment wants to accomplish. While having great products that don’t take up too much space is the perfect starting point, figuring out how to style and organize those pieces can be pretty tough, too. That’s why Pottery Barn is rolling out a few key design resources along with the launch of PB Apartment to offer helpful tips, style ideas, and solutions across their website, catalog, and social media accounts.
Some exclusive content will include square footage-based room design ideas, product guides highlighting the multi-functional and versatile options available in the collection, examples of full apartment makeovers for design inspiration, and decorating ideas that will help maximize square footage.
Another great service? Customer service representatives, dubbed the “Design Crew,” will be available for PB Apartment customers. They will be offering free in-home or in-store consultation services in order to help customers style, design, and install personalized looks for any space or project.

PB Apartment will be available online and in 80 stores in the US and Canada starting tomorrow, January 11.
