Ok, so it’s not technically a rooftop pool, but it’s too cool not to include. Situated on the ground level of the McCarren Hotel, this popular swimming spot is the place to see and be seen in Brooklyn. Non-guests can reserve a weekday pass for $55 or a daybed for $150. On the weekend, prices rise to $65 and $175, respectively.

If you have $200 to shell out, you can "Play Hooky" (which includes all day access to the 45-foot pool, a drink voucher, a bottle of Fiji Water, and a copy of the New York Post) at the Gansevoort’s trendy Meatpacking property. While the package may be pricey, you could always do some work between lounging and swimming—this way it pays for itself, right?
