    About Artist Qing Ji:

I am a photographer, illustrator, and designer. I approach my art with inspirations from nature, travel, and little things in daily life. What interests me most are forms, light and shadow.

Dogwood is one of the reasons I love spring. As I was taking a walk in my community, this gorgeous tree really struck me. The petals were pinkish, curling up in elegant shapes. Looking close, the textures on the petals were so prominent and decorative. The flowers stood side by side, happily reaching for the sky. Cheers, spring! Cheers, life!
