Remember when Mandy Moore bought a stunning mid-century home in LA in early 2017? We finally have some insight into the This Is Us star’s plans for the decor… and it’s coming from none other than Moore’s own Instagram account.

Moore purchased the 3,551-square-foot home for $2.56 million. The listing was held by Alphonso Lascono, who noted the home for its location in the “highly coveted Linda Vista area of Pasadena,” which “offers stunning panoramic views of the San Gabriel Mountains.”

The home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, sitting on 1.45 acres of land. And while it had many stunning decorative features—such as a central fireplace with a classic copper hood, walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, and a breakfast nook that opens to an outdoor dining patio—it was deeply in need of some personalization.

According to Moore’s Instagram, this personalization comes courtesy of design duo Emily Farnham (an architect) and Sarah Sherman Samuel (an interior designer).

“It’s essentially all of my HGTV fantasies come to life!! I am the luckiest to have the dynamic duo of Emily Farnham and Sarah Sherman Samuel leading the charge on implementing our design ideas,” writes Moore in her caption.

The social media post revealed a proposed color palette for the newly-designed home—it features subdued shades of pale green, pastel pink, and neutral hues, which looks like Moore is going for a calming vibe in her new place. Obviously, this is totally understandable, as working on such an emotionally-charged, Emmy-winning TV show probably comes with its fair share of stress.

Other updates, according to the ’gram, include a modern fireplace with white brick and a completely rethought kitchen. Samuel shared a bit more about the upcoming space on her blog, calling it a “full demo job.”

According to Samuel, they will be entirely renovating the majority of the house and working to add fresh, contemporary elements—while still keeping some of the original 1950s features. (The home was designed by famous architect Harold Zook.) Looking to keep the space bright and light, the design team opted for a paler green accent color—Farrow & Ball’s “Mizzle,” for interested parties—and complemented that with clean marble detailing and modern appliances.

“The green color goes so well with the marble, and it will keep the kitchen light, but still give it more interest than an all-white kitchen,” writes Samuel.
