We’re all about the gorgeous views and sophisticated style this couple created in their family's Pacific Palisades home.
In 2009, after a year-long search, A-list couple—and parents of three—Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner found their dream home high in the hills of the Pacific Palisades. The 8,800 square foot estate was designed, by esteemed architect Cliff May, who is considered the inventor of California ranch-style homes, in the 1930s and once belonged to film star Gregory Peck.
Rooms in the home flow directly into one another with large picture windows allowing for easy passage from indoors to outdoors— a trademark of May’s fluid, organic style.
The five-bedroom, eight-bath abode boasts its own library, wine cellar, and a master bedroom that overlooks their pool and offers impressive views of Mandeville canyon as well the Pacific Ocean.
And as if a basketball court, dance studio, and gym weren’t enough, the 3-acre property also offers a full farmhouse style kitchen with its own mini-diner for fun family eating on the run!
In addition to an outdoor pool, the ethereal space includes an indoor pool, spa, and its own waterfall—offering a slew of organic elements to enrich the breezy California ambience.
