Things can get sloppy outdoors.
Make sure your cushions are up for the summer challenge.
|It’s a good idea to bring cushions indoors at night. Even if fabrics are stain-, mildew- and water-resistant, that doesn’t mean they don’t need to be looked after. For example, dirt that’s not removed can mildew, so be sure to brush off anything before it has a chance to sink in. Once a month, lightly spray all cushions with water and prop up (zipper side down) to let air-dry. After it rains, follow the same drying procedure. For spot removal or more serious cleaning, check the manufacturer’s instructions. Many covers are machine-washable in cold water; they should be air-dried. |
