We get it, the guests are downstairs. So, why bother hanging garland in, say, the bedroom, right? But when you really start to think about all the time you spend hiding from the cold or sleeping-in come winter, you’ll feel tempted to make the bedroom an equally cozy and celebratory place to be. Blogger Liz Marie
loves Christmas so much, she wants it the be the first and last thing she sees each day in her fixer-upper farmhouse in Michigan.
“I’m obsessed with using cedar in our Christmas decor because they are the perfect farmhouse greens,” she says. Thanks to her exclusively white-washed room, Marie’s in-season greens pop in the simple sleeping space. She also placed mercury glass in the middle of the wreaths and an ivory knit throw on the bed for added intrigue.
