A peek at the 4th annual Field + Supply makers fair—aka why you should head to the Hudson Valley this weekend.

For the fourth year running, makers from across a diverse range of disciplines will gather in New York's Hudson Valley to showcase their unique items at Field + Supply. Encompassing everything from furniture and decorative accessories to jewelry and baked goods, the three-day "modern makers craft fair," founded in 2014 by interior designer Brad Ford, consists of a curated mix of inspired design studios and workshops, each boasting a refined aesthetic and product offering.

Since its inception, the fair has grown exponentially in years past. While historically, the fair has taken place in High Falls, NY, this year, it will be held at the Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, NY. It's a relatively larger locale, with a modern-meets-industrialized twist—a departure from its setting of the preceding years and partly a solution for the ever-growing popularity of the fair.

Plus: The location allows for a seamless partnership with Smorgasburg Upstate, the Brooklyn-based food market that hosts a monthly pop-up at the Brickyards. Visitors can expect a small group of food vendors, as well as craft beer, wine, and spirits.

Aside from perusing the bevy of fresh finds, there are plenty of activities offered that warrant a visit to the fair. Live music from blue grass to swing set the tone for a weekend of outdoor festivities. Craft workshops offering lessons in hat making, cake decorating, and even essential oil alchemy provide ample opportunities for refining the skills of even the most novice of DIY-ers.

Come for the crafts, music, or just another excuse to do a little shopping! Team Domino will be heading up there this weekend, so be sure to follow along our adventures on Instagram
