Amanda recommends keeping the table neutral so the rest of your table can shine, which is why she opted for a white tablecloth from Mode Living NYC. Next, we look to the very cute place settings, which include a personal bottle of Le Grand Courtâge brut and limited edition Ladurée Macaron Valentines Day boxes. Champagne and macarons (to take home or enjoy throughout the evening!) are small touches everyone will appreciate.

She said, “It’s all about the sweet details and making your guests feel special with lots of little treats and party favors.”

Other special touches include oversized metallic balloons that are an easy way to make a statement—and create the perfect photo opp—without blowing your budget. The perfect place to hang them? Above your adorable dessert and drink bar, filled with pink candies and a pre-made cocktail, seen here served in Frontgate Drink Dispensers.

A recipe for Sparkling Pink Lemonade Cocktails (from MyRecipes!):

  • 1 (12-oz.) can frozen pink lemonade (think Minute Maid)
  • 4 cups white cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 (750-milliliter) bottle extra-dry Champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Curaçao)
Optional: Add a special Valentine's Day garnish of pink rock candy.

If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, simply swap the champagne and liqueur for 4 cups white cranberry juice cocktail and 1 quart club soda!

And though Amanda looked to Miami florist and event design company N Events for her stunning floral accent, yours don’t have to be professionally arranged. Take a page from their design and look for pinks and whites that complement other elements of your table. Amanda’s favorites are the blush spray roses, Majolika light pink roses, and the Akito blush Italian ranunculus.

In true Fashionable Hostess form, Amanda went sophisticated with her place setting, opting for all white and gold. She styled Glass Chargers from Villeroy & Boch under Olivia & Oliver Gold Rimmed Plates, topped with gold speckled salad plates and paired with Marchesa by Lenox gold flatware. The finishing touch? Simple, yet stunning, place cards printed on Minted
