My blog York Avenue is my place to share all of the things I love. This includes (but is not limited to): interior design, home decor, studio apartment and small space living, along with a dose of fashion, sweets, and life on Manhattan's Upper East Side. I am constantly finding inspiration in this amazing city and I love to share it on the blog.

How would you describe your personal style?

My style is colorful, eclectic, and characterized by what I like to call "controlled clutter." I favor a mix of modern and vintage, and I'm always a fan of a little touch of quirk. Overall, I love classic looks with a touch of edge.

What makes a home beautiful?

A mix of old and new. Color and pattern. Unique and beautiful art. Decorative items that you love. Books, books, and more books. Above all, a home is beautiful when it is a reflection of the interests and passions of its occupant.

Where do you feel most inspired?

I feel most inspired when I'm walking around New York City - this city never ceases to surprise and delight me! I love exploring new neighborhoods or just going to my favorite places in my own area, the Upper East Side. I always feel refreshed and inspired after doing a bit of exploring, and I love to bring my discoveries to the blog through my photography and writing.
