Vera Bradley’s paisley-printed designs don’t elicit lukewarm feelings: You’re either a Vera fan or you’re not—or, more likely, your mom is a Vera fan. But with the launch of the brand’s first ever bedding collection, you might just change your mind.
The multifaceted collection includes pretty much everything you need to drift off into hazy dreamland—brightly colored shams, intricately detailed comforter sets, high quality sheets, and elegant coverlets. The entire collection boasts modern styles, as well as high end materials and trims. The collection is divided into four themes—Falling Flowers, Modern Medley, Signature, and Heirloom Paisley—and of course, you can mix and match as you please.
The collection is very affordable (ranging from $29.99 to $179.99), so it’s no wonder many of the pieces are already sold out, including an elephant print pillow that is far from what you’d consider your classic Vera Bradley. But don’t despair: The brand promises to restock as soon as possible.
“Launching our first bedding collection is such an exciting step for Vera Bradley,” said Barbara Bradley Baekgaard, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer. “Creating a beautiful and comfortable home that expresses one’s personality and lifestyle has always been a passion of mine. The patterns and pieces offered in our new collection will add a gorgeous and creative touch to any home.”
The chic designs and new home decor territory aren’t the only way the brand is reinventing itself. It’s also decided to add a technological spin to the mix by pairing with Obsess VR and Daydream by Google. That’s right—Virtual Reality bedding is here, but the innovative experience will only be available at 10 Vera Bradley stores across the country. This isn’t your mom’s old flowered tote, that’s for sure.
Don’t live near one of these high tech stores? You can still shop for these dreamy pieces at select Bed Bath & Beyond stores, Bon Ton retail locations, and on verabradley.com. The collection will also be available as a pop-up shop in Vera Bradley’s flagship in Soho, New York City, for a limited time through Wednesday, August 23.Your bedroom just got a whole lot cozier.
