Sunrise Ruffalo has style in spades. The French actress and mom of three opened the most charming upstate New York homewares store, Sunny’s Pop, two years ago to high praise from the design community. But while she’s busy running everyday errands in her tiny hamlet of Callicoon, New York, to Hollywood red carpets with her husband, actor Mark Ruffalo, few things bring her more joy in life than her kids, Keen, Bella Noche, and Odette. “To be able to watch my children grow into three unique individuals has been the greatest part of being a mom for me,” she told Domino. “I got lucky. I really like my kids!”

Buying a Mother’s Day gift for such a stylish woman cannot be easy, but Ruffalo says she enjoys the simple things: “Breakfast in bed and laying around guilt-free are my dream Mother’s Day plans,” she says. Though she loves receiving homemade gifts and cards from her children, her most precious gift is a pearl necklace she received while pregnant with her third child. “It’s a pearl necklace for the modern ages and it brings me back to that time when my children were little and life was full of mystery, chaos, and joy.” Ahead, she helped us source the best Mother’s Day gifts from her chic upstate store.

For the mom who needs an energizing boost…

“Whenever I need a quick pick-me-up to get me through a busy day of kid’s activities, I reach for my lemon yellow espresso cup to give me that extra pep. Seeing the color spikes my mood.”

For the caffeinated mom…

“This French press is sure to impress with its unique design. While my husband likes to make his coffee in it, I like to use it for some of my loose-leaf teas.”

For the mom who always smells great…

“I try my best to stay fresh in the middle of running errands, but when I need a little extra boost, I reach for my Band of Outlaws perfume. It’s a really nice, neutral, woodsy smell that I’m constantly getting compliments on.”

For the mom who deserves a rest…

“I have three amazing children who keep me on my toes all day long, so when it’s time for bed, I like to make sure I get all the rest I can. These Egyptian cotton Matouk sheets are so soft I can (usually) sleep through the night.”

For the mom who loves summer days…

“Summer is just around the corner, which means sunny days by the river. To carry all our towels, sunscreen, and bug repellent, I use this super-durable canvas tote.”

For the self-care mom…

“It’s hard to choose my favorite scent out of these candles by Charles Farris. It freshens the room and my mind when I need to unwind.”

For the artistically minded mom…

“I love this silk knot. It’s sophisticated yet fun and a sculptural piece that I can enjoy keeping around while taking a much-needed break.”

For the on-the-go mom…

“Every mother needs a good bag, especially one that can store all her essentials. This wristlet is ultra sleek with a surprising amount of storage so I can go from lunch with friends to mom duties without skipping a beat.”
