Ask any self-professed caffeine addict or hardcore coffee-lover and even they’ll tell you that carving out a proper spot for their brewer (let alone ensuring it seamlessly blends in with the space around it) is no easy feat. So how does one get around said dilemma? Meet the Keurig® K-Elite™ coffee maker, the striking brewer that won’t force you to sacrifice style for functionality and will inspire you to give your coffee area a chic refresh this spring.

Not only are we loving the K-Elite™ coffee maker for its premium finish and metal details (our modern kitchens thank you!), we’re big fans of the brewer’s many programmable features to deliver the ultimate in beverage customization. Features include a “Strong Brew” option to increase the strength and bold taste of your coffee, and an “Over Ice” button that allows you to brew hot coffee over ice to enjoy cold for a full flavored and delicious iced coffee. Now that winter seems to have (finally!) come and gone, rest assured, we’ll be taking our morning joe chilled from here on out.

In just under a minute of brew time, you can set off on your journey with your java post-pour—be it back beneath the sheets or quickly out the door—every sacred sipping sesh starts with a well-kept coffee station. And as dedicated caffeine fiends ourselves, we firmly believe that your at-home coffee spot should always be as stylish as it is functional. Ahead, we reveal a few of our favorite tried-and-true tips for an elevated coffee nook, no cart or unsightly containers required.

Keep your K-Elite™ coffee maker nearby.

Instead of relegating your coffee maker to a lonely corner across the kitchen, consider setting it up in a convenient location close to the sink. After all, when you’re in a rush and your brewer is low on water, the last thing you want to be doing is mopping up after yourself.

Pro tip: Visually divvy up counter space by placing a sweet potted plant on one side of your brewer. Not only does this trick create an optical barrier between your coffee station and the rest of your prep space, but it will also help impart a lively dose of color.

Corral your clutter.

It might feel only natural to want to keep your coffee-making accoutrements stowed away in a nearby cabinet, but when it comes to early-morning brewing, easy access is key. In light of keeping counter clutter to a minimum, appoint your necessities to a proper landing pad—like this sleek slab of marble. Given the K-Elite™ coffee maker’s striking brushed finish, we opted for an organic, stone surface with subtle streaks of black as the base for bonus ingredients.

“Fill it with everything you need to make the perfect cup: pretty canisters filled with Laughing Man® K-Cup® pods, chic sugar dishes, pitchers for almond milk, etc.,” suggests Domino style editor Elaina Sullivan. “It also makes it easy to move around if you need extra space for prepping.”

Keep things neutral.

A simple fix for an instant kitchen upgrade? Stick with a neutral palette and mix-and-match monochromatic materials like glass, wood, and marble for a streamlined look. Since there’s nothing worse than rummaging through a sea of mix-and-matched jars in search of sugar, spare stirrers, and everything else that goes into making the perfect cup, we’re big fans of see-through and topless vessels for their ease and transparency.

Pro tip: “Consider your visual sightline by tapering your objects according to height,” suggests Sullivan. While we used a flat slab of marble to house our coffee-making essentials, a chic cake stand will also get the job done, and help save precious counter space.

Once your style-forward coffee station is officially complete, it’s time to put the brewer’s “Over Ice” setting to the test. For added flavor, consider playing around by adding milk or coffee-infused ice cubes or garnishing your blend with whipped coconut cream. Whether you were already searching for another excuse to consume more coffee or not, the Keurig® K-Elite™ coffee maker will undoubtedly fuel your DIY brewing obsession this season.
