Studio McGee founders Shea and Syd McGee have outdoor living down. An in-ground trampoline, herb garden, and diamond-shaped pavers are just a few highlights from their Salt Lake City backyard, but they also know a thing or two about patio-approved seating. In addition to their own line of furniture, which will be growing in major ways this year (they just announced they’ve joined forces with growth-equity firm Strand Equity to expand their product offerings), the McGees designed a collection for Target. The chic egg-shaped wicker chair they created for the retailer’s Threshold line is not only a small-space gem (it can easily fit on a balcony), it’s also their best-selling product to date.

The patio staple comes with a $550 price tag, which might seem steep, but the piece is 50 inches wide, meaning you can definitely squeeze two people on it. It also features a rust-resistant steel frame (so you don’t have to move it inside every time it rains), and the plush cushion is made out of 100 percent recycled polyester fabric that won’t fade in the sun.

The brand’s most popular pick is a solid place to start, but your outdoor space isn’t complete yet. We had our style editor pick out four more backyard finds to pair with the fan-favorite chair. Psst: If you didn’t know it yet, dusty clover green accents are the way to go this season.
