Domino Style Director Kate Berry finds color inspiration just about everywhere, but she often refers back to Willem De Kooning’s piece, Door to the River (pictured above, at center). “He’s such a master of color,” notes Berry, whose go-to spring palette of bright yellow and peachy nude jumps straight off of de Kooning’s canvas. Here, a few of her favorite pieces to bring the colors home.

Puck Bag, Building Block, $395

Who doesn’t want to carry a pocket(book) full of sunshine?

VP1 Flowerpot Pendant Lamp by Verner Panton, Danish Design Store, $330

Everybody looks better bathed in a rose-hued glow.

Electric Chair Bandana, Calvin Klein, $290

Raf Simons’s electric design is a slice of pure luxury.

Juicer by Elinor Portnoy, The Future Perfect, $450

A sculptural citrus squeezer in a refreshing palette brightens up any kitchen counter.

Strata Plate, Lucia Massari, $375

The amazing collage effect of this glass plate is a work of art!

Washed Linen Top Sheet, Merci, $160

I get a burst of energy when I see these lemony linen sheets first thing in the morning.

Puzzle Rug, Studio Proba, $1,450

My favorite colors in a geniusly designed cutout rug.

Nylon Trenchcoat, Dries Van Noten, $1,775

Pattern perfection that’s the ideal spring cover-up.

Rouche Swimsuit, Whit, $248

This chic swimsuit is what I’ll be wearing every day on an upcoming trip to Hawaii.
