We’re already big fans of French kitchenware company Le Creuset for its high-quality, colorful goods that make cooking pretty. But has anyone else been pronouncing the company’s name completely wrong? According to Elle Decor, it’s time to get your French accent on: Turns out,

le creuset

is pronounced luh-croo-zay (emphasis on the croo). Yeah, you may want to practice a few times.

But aside from its Parisian pronunciation, Le Creuset’s iconic pieces are staples for lots of home chefs. The brand now offers a total of 18 colors (and counting!), allowing them to be a bright pop of color in any kitchen decor. With new releases and color combinations coming out frequently, one thing’s for sure—these pots and pans have definite personality.

Check out all the new releases of 2018 here.

Stainless Steel Cookware Set

Released March 15, 2018

Diverging from its traditional enamel and cast iron material combo, Le Creuset has designed a shiny, sleek, seven-piece stainless steel set, complete with a frying pan, saucepan, sauté pan, stock pot, and more. The pieces feature the brand’s iconic three ring design, but have been created in a lighter stainless steel material that heats up much faster than cast iron—therefore expanding the dishes you’ll be able to make.

Plus, the company is set to release two non-stick stainless steel frying pans as well. These additions diversify Le Creuset’s cookware offerings, proving that they can also create multipurpose items with the same high-quality brand name value.

The Flower Collection

Released March 2018

Spring has officially sprung at Le Creuset: Just days after the announcement that the iconic French brand would be bringing back the Dune shade in outlets exclusively, this dainty, floral-inspired collection was released. Complete with a festive flower-shaped cocotte in three bright colors (including the especially on-trend Provence purple), the collection also features sweet, mini, round cocottes. The tiny versions of the larger classic are white with cute flower knobs in yellow, pink, and purple, making them perfect for serving out condiments and smaller portions. They might just be the perfect addition to that Easter tablescape.

Available on lecreuset.com.

Dune Collection

Released March 1 2018

If you can’t quite justify spending the money on an exceptionally bold or bright-colored Dutch oven, Le Creuset’s latest announcement is for you: This spring, the classic stoneware brand is bringing back simple, French provincial style with the revival of a previously retired shade called Dune.

According to an announcement the brand made via its Instagram account, the soft beige shade is “the original neutral” that’s back from the archives for a fresh reboot, and ready to go with literally any kitchen decor. The subtle sand shade is a refreshing break from some of the more vibrant additions as of late, and perfect for the minimalist in you.

You won’t be able to find these classics online, though: The Dune revival will only be sold at Le Creuset outlet locations, which (lucky for you) also means they’ll be a little less pricey. You can find your nearest outlet store here.

The Sorbet Collection

To be released May 2018

Le Creuset’s newest line has us already dreaming about summer. The Sorbet collection will feature a selection of smaller-sized products, including egg cups, mini bowls, espresso mugs, and mini cocettes, each in a range of dainty, retro-esque pastels.

Every set features a range in color from Coastal Blue, Cool Mint, Chiffon Pink, Mimosa, Dune (sand), and Cotton (white), with each finished off with Le Creuset’s signature sturdy lacquer. Between the light ombre colors and everyday items to be included in this collection, we’re marking our calendars for this one. Plus, it’ll be arriving at lecreuset.com just in time for Mother’s Day.

Clover Cocotte

Released February 1

All you St. Patrick’s Day lovers, this one’s for you: Le Creuset has designed a decidedly chic shamrock-shaped cocette. The ombre green enamel in a playful, four-leaf clover shape gives serious character to the brand’s traditional, best-selling Dutch ovens, and brings new life to a classic. Like many of Le Creuset’s other pieces, this one is durable enough to cook in and cute enough to serve with.

Exclusively available on the brand’s website.

Mickey Mouse 90th Anniversary Collection

Released January 25

In honor of Walt Disney’s most iconic character, Le Creuset designed bright red and black cookware pieces created specially in 2018 to celebrate Mickey Mouse’s 90th birthday. The popular and versatile cast iron Dutch oven features Mickey Mouse shapes stamped on the sides, and a stainless steel knob on the lid. The limited edition collection also boasts a two-piece set of Mickey-shaped ramekins.

Mint Collection

Released January 18

Channeling springtime vibes, the mint collection includes a full set of the brand’s most popular pieces—including that coveted Dutch oven—in a feminine, light ombre of almost aqua blue-green. The vibrant pop of color on the lacquered exteriors, along with the classic light sand hue on the inside, makes for the perfect boost of brightness in any kitchen.

Exclusively available at Williams Sonoma.

Heart-Shaped Valentine’s Day Collection

Released January 18

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Le Creuset is putting a sweet touch on their popular cocettes and other bakeware. Offering 10 heart-shaped cooking and baking items ranging in size and price, this cute twist on the original dishes is available in only the most fitting colors—rose, cerise, hibiscus, and white.

Provence Collection

Released January 1

Employing this year’s hottest color to make some seriously trendy cookware, the Provence line—as its name suggests—is inspired by the fragrant lavender fields of France, thus giving it that feminine, purple, ombre color. As of right now, the Provence line is sold exclusively through Sur La Table—although it will become available on lecreuset.com, in Le Creuset stores, and through other retailers that carry the brand in March.

Exclusively available at Sur La Table.
