Asking Nate Berkus to come up with a list of his favorite design items is like gifting yourself the most stylish shopping list of all time. So it’s no surprise that the designer, who recently launched a 50-piece furniture collection for Living Spaces with his husband, Jeremiah Brent, named a female-owned paint company that has tons of wall-ready shades and a rug brand that he’s constantly sourcing for his clients. Here are a few of his current faves.

A Hit of Citrus

A female-founded paint company—need I say more? Take a glance at Nicole Gibbons’s Instagram account and you’ll have inspiration for days.

Catch of the Day

I use these whimsical plates to set the table when we’re hosting special occasions—they were a birthday gift from Jeremiah.

By the Sea

I loved working on this Mediterranean-inspired collection. You can layer the shades seamlessly with what you already have.

Do Look Down

My firm has been sourcing Ennui’s artisan-made mohair rugs for more than 20 years. They’re definitely worth the splurge.

Made With Love

Between the fabric and the Art Deco shape, our chair is chic and cozy at the same time—it feels like a hug.
