As if the opening of the beautiful Magnolia Table wasn’t enough—now, we have yet another reason you might want to pack your bags for Waco, Texas, and get on the Chip and Jo bandwagon. The expecting couple seems to constantly be expanding their homegrown Magnolia empire (probably because us Fixer Upper fans can’t get enough).
The latest announcement, made via the Magnolia Twitter account, is especially exciting for all us bargain hunters who want to get in on the Gaines’ signature farmhouse style. Starting Thursday, March 22, the Gaineses will be reopening their original Magnolia store—but with a super fun, discounted twist.
Joanna wrote on the Magnolia site, “In 2003, we bought our ‘Little Shop on Bosque,’ and opened the first Magnolia Market. In that store, I developed and sharpened my design style and skills, grew as a business owner, and gained much needed confidence in Magnolia Market and myself.”
Now that it’s reopening, customers can be a part of the place where it all began for the now famous couple. The best part is that the shop will feature “last chance items and slightly damaged products at a discount.” That’s right: It’s basically a sale warehouse for an assortment of Chip and Jo-approved items… aka, Fixer Upper fan heaven.
With spring ahead, our eyes are on the newest Magnolia collection, and we’d be thrilled to see some of our favorite tabletop items make their way to the warehouse—the Liam pitcher, farmhouse serving plank, and Alouette bowl are just some of our faves.
And although the warehouse won’t have a full selection of farmhouse goods—you’ll have to venture to the gigantic Magnolia Market at the Silos for that—if it’s anything like the couple’s other endeavors, it will embrace their signature, down to earth, country home style.
Chic country goods at a discounted price? We’ll be booking our flights to Waco soon.
