Hello, @juleytl here! I’m the lifestyle blogger behind Upperlyne & Co. and the co-founder + creative director of @MontroseShop. I’ve been living in and loving New Orleans for a long time, so I’m excited to takeover today to show fellow Domino fans a few of my favorite stops in the city with hopes you’ll book a visit here soon! / photo by @greergatusso

Royal Street is a wonder. Live musicians, galleries, history, culture. You’ve got to spend a weekday morning here, coffee-in-hand, strolling with your significant other. It’s the best free activity in the city if you’re a cheap, lazy traveler like me.

There’s a lot of talent lining our streets, but my longtime favorite are the duo @tanya_dorise who light up Royal Street with their hip-hop meets classic instrumental tunes.

Where locals have been eating fresh, homemade gelato for years. I love watching the ladies behind the counter manage the flood of orders with ease. My favorite order? A slice of tiramisu and an affogato!

There’s traditional tea time in New Orleans, but then there’s tea time at @SalonbySucre, which offers a modern approach to tea and desserts. The dark leather seating against the white brick wall is a dream.

Krewe Du Optic‘s flagship store is the new retail game changer in New Orleans. Nestled in charming Royal Street, the concept is a minimalist and coffee lover’s dream. Just past the retail area, you can pick up fresh Illy coffee from @merchantnola and just hang out. And, that’s just what I’ll do! Thanks for following along with me today! – @juleytl/ photo by @greergatusso
