We have bold color, fun pattern, and delightful details on the brain, and we know just who to thank.

Lindsey Andrews

, Co-founder ofMinibar Delivery, recently completed an impressive interior design project in her West Village apartment in NYC, and it’s almost impossible not to think of it as our own personal inspiration board. The 1600 square foot home in a pre-war building has more than enough space for this startup star to spread out among mixed prints and unique furnishing finds. Read on to tour her space and allow the colors, prints, and textures she chose to inspire your next major design move.

Those I bought at one of the big antique shops in Stamford, CT but the fabric is China Seas

WHAT OVERALL AESTHETIC DID YOU FOCUS ON HERE?Colorful, fun, livable yet still classic

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THIS DESIGN PROCESS? Hunting for great and hopefully accessible pieces at antique shops, we did a lot of that in Stamford, CT. It’s also fun finding pieces when you travel as they are a constant reminder of your trips.

“I love the Brunschwig Les Touches fabric, we have that in both the living room and library.”

WHERE DO YOU FIND YOURSELF SPENDING THE MOST TIME IN THIS SPACE? The library, we love the red room, it is really cozy and welcoming. We spend a ton of time in there, whether we are having a few people over for drinks or watching Sunday night TV.

WE CAN’T GET OVER THE PRINTS YOU PICKED FOR YOUR SPACE. ANY ADVICE ON HOW YOU MADE THESE WORK SO WELL TOGETHER? I like bright fun colors, I like to pick the colors and then try to mix up the patterns, you don’t want just one or two, some can be bright while others are more muted.

WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL FAVORITE ITEM IN THIS SPACE? The zebra – it was a gift from my husband and it adds a unique sense of whimsy to the apartment.

ANY ADVICE FOR READERS HOPING TO TAKE ON A REDESIGN OF THEIR OWN? Don’t expect it to all be done at once, we are still looking for items we need for our apartment and we moved in 2.5 years ago.
