We suspect Lea Michele would agree that bubble baths are underrated. This week, in honor of #WellnessWednesdays, the actress took to her Instagram Stories to show off her favorite oils, soaks, and cleansers, subsequently revealing her secrets to glowing skin. Bottles from her favorite brands, including Herbivore Botanicals, OSEA, Fresh, and Tata Harper, were all present on the slatted wood ledge next to her stand-alone tub.
As she gave a peek at each one, we were delighted to learn Michele has a soft spot for nontoxic, plant-based beauty products. If you didn’t catch her videos, here are a few details about the star’s bath-time regimen:
She Washes Her Face With an Oil Cleanser
This daily treatment “helps to remove makeup without being too harsh on the skin,” raves Michele. The formula includes nine sources of vitamins (it’s packed with E and A), and 100 percent of the ingredients are from natural origins.
She Bathes in Coconut Milk Powder
Once the water is running, Michele sprinkles in either Fresh’s sake-based bath mixture or this organic coconut milk soak. Per the instructions, it’s best to add it right before or when you’re already in the tub, since the oils will vaporize when they make contact with H2O.
She Uses What’s Essentially a Supercharged Loofah
Then Michele scrubs with a dry brush made from natural sisal. “It helps with your lymphatic system, exfoliates the skin, cleans pores, reduces cellulite, and more,” she writes.
She Finishes Up With Algae Oil
Once she’s out of the tub, Michele locks in all that goodness with this ultra-concentrated, firming body oil, which is loaded with acai, babassu, and passion fruit. Rub-a-dub-dub!
