Good morning! @juleytl here. I’m the lifestyle blogger behind Upperlyne & Co. and the co-founder + creative director of @MontroseShop. I’ve been living in and loving New Orleans for a long time, so I’m excited to takeover today to share a few of my favorite downtown stops. The best part is you can follow along today without ever leaving those comfy linen sheets! (P.S. these were a steal from @hm.)
First stop off the streetcar is @willajeanneworleans to grab a luxurious Milk Money Latte and a big, hearty biscuit. From here, we’re going to people watch while we walk towards the French Quarter – @juleytl
Time to stop by @kreweduoptic for fresh eyewear inspiration at their agship store. Nestled in charming Royal Street, the concept is a minimalist and coffee lover’s dream. Just past the retail area, you can pick up fresh Illy coffee from @merchantnola and just hang out. – @juleytl / photo by: @greergattuso
It’s not quite happy hour but I love to stop by the @hotelmonteleone to ogle at its rotating bar as well as its exterior design! Talk about the perfect color palette. – @juleytl
A quick stop to @revelatorcoffee for a simple latte and the best looking menu, if I do say so myself! Make sure to grab a few goat’s milk salted caramels on your way out. – @juleytl
Our last stop is Royal Street and it’s a wonder! Live musicians, galleries, history, culture. You’ve got to spend a weekday morning here, coffee-in-hand, strolling with your significant other. It’s the best free activity in the city if you’re a cheap, lazy traveler like me. I’m finishing up my day here and hope you enjoyed this little travel guide! For snapshots of classic, casual, cool style and living in New Orleans be just to give me a follow at @juleytl. Thank you!
