How many major Swedish retailers does it take to change a lightbulb? Apparently, only one: IKEA just released a range of LED Edison-style bulbs, with one particular standout. The Trådfr may look old school, but it has smart technology, so you can adjust its brightness and arrange for it to turn on and off with a motion sensor via a wireless remote or the IKEA Home app. And best of all, it’s just $10—that’s about $15 less than similar bulbs on the market.

If you’ve grown tired of your current lamps, the vintage vibe of an Edison bulb is an easy way to make them feel fresh. You’ll want to reserve them for fixtures with exposed bulbs, of course, as well as ones with transparent shades—that way they can really make an impact. Dim the lights and consider the mood set.

Or, if you want to use this as an opportunity to get a new lamp altogether, consider this your go-ahead. Why not try one of these fun options?
