Turning this cute basket into a mobile herb garden planter is as easy as pie (and requires fewer ingredients) with this simple Ikea hack. It’s the perfect home garden accent for your kitchen or living room; plants and herbs can be swapped out seasonally or left to thrive year-round.

Materials:

Brankis basket – Castors – Screws + screwdriver – Plants

Instructions:

First, you’ll want to use a pencil to measure and mark the bottom of the Brankis basket where each castor is to be attached.

Then, use your screwdriver to create holes and proceed to screw in each castor until they are securely fastened.

Once the basket is on wheels, you can flip it over and fill it with plants. (Add a layer of plastic inside the basket if you’re worried about leaking.) Choose a mixture of succulents and herbs to create the effect of an overflowing garden bed, right in your kitchen.
