H&M Home wants you to simplify. It’s somewhat ironic, considering the primary job of a retailer is to get you to buy stuff, but the brand’s newest launch sees H&M embracing a more pared-back aesthetic. With the Marie Kondo craze turning everyone into aspirational minimalists, it’s no surprise that the 56-piece “Season Switch” collection is selling out at lightning speed.

The pre-spring line comes with helpful tips from the retailer on how to fully make the switch from a cozy winter space into something lighter. With an emphasis on natural materials like linen and ceramic and lighter colors like whites and pale blues, the collection will help you live lighter in the most literal sense.

That said, there’s something that feels a bit sacrilegious about buying a whole slew of new decor products in order to simplify your space. Instead, maybe the answer lies in picking one or two new pieces to tie together a room—an organizational catch-all or a fun graphic set of plates to breathe new life into weeknight dinners.
