Gwen Stefani seems to be doing great with new beau Blake Shelton, and we’d totally be lying if we said seeing these two lovebirds together isn’t giving us all the feels. But there’s one aspect of her past with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale the iconic singer just can’t seem to get rid of: Her massive Beverly Hills mansion that she used to share with the English musician. And it’s worth quite a pretty penny, too.
Per Variety, Stefani and Rossdale bought the 11,845-square-foot estate (that once belonged to Jennifer Lopez) back in 2006 for $13.25 million. Following a “hellish divorce,” the couple listed the home in 2016 for $35 million, but it just didn’t catch. Now, the marble-filled mansion has been slashed in price to $29 million, in the hopes of a quick sale. Stephen Shapiro of Westside Estate Agency holds the listing. (Rossdale also seems to be moving on just fine: He nabbed a 1.3-acre Studio City abode for $7.3 million.)
The spread offers 10 bathrooms (six of which are en suite), seven bedrooms, a detached guesthouse, and Kelly Wearstler-designed interiors. A 250-foot private driveway and gated entry keep the paparazzi out, and the palatial marble interior makes the home fit for royalty.
Pure white walls and ceilings serve as the perfect backdrop for the home’s more quirky design choices, such as gold metal accents throughout the space and some fun, Art Deco-inspired accessories.
There are also patterned floors, vaulted ceilings, skylights, and marble facades (like this absolutely incredible statement fireplace) sprinkled throughout the state-of-the-art abode. The one-of-a-kind accent walls are a total game changer.
The black and white striped kitchen features hidden storage space and an adjoining breakfast room with built-in leather banquette seating. A little dizzying, but so fabulously over the top.
Most of the bedrooms, including the master suite, offer sweeping views of the San Fernando Valley and backyard tennis court. Incredible floor-to-ceiling windows, marble walls, and hardwood flooring give a sense of luxury.
Stefani’s walk-in closet is what fashion dreams are made of: Dark wood cabinets and a dedicated shoe cupboard allow plenty of room for a multitude of outfit options, while the soft polka dot carpeting gives the area a bit of fun.
There’s obviously a stunning outdoor area with a grill and infinity pool—all the better for entertaining in the LA sun—but the royal pad also boasts a screening room, professional-grade gym, kid’s playground, chicken coop, and tennis court. Hopefully, this posh place will find another celebrity owner in no time.
