The sad news around the fashion world this morning is Grace Coddington’s departure from Vogue. The creative director is stepping down, but still maintaining an editor-at-large role and will continue to be a spokesperson for Condé Nast. It’s tough to imagine a Vogue without Grace, but we’ll cherish our stockpile of past issues all the more. Here, we take a peek at our favorite interior design moments from a fashion icon. Starting with the cat pillows shown here, of course.

Some collectors allow their homes to feel overtaken by treasure. But not Grace. Her NYC apartment is tastefully laden with books, art, and yes–cats, in a soothing, elegant way.

Art. Vintage furnishings. Cat lamp. Best of luck on your next adventures, Grace!
