From Hollywood Hills to Beverly Hills, everyone’s favorite former Desperate Housewife is on the move. According to Trulia,  A-list actress Eva Longoria just splurged on a $13.5 million modern home, complete with sky high ceilings, custom entryways, and stunning, rich oak flooring. And while she settles into her new eight-bed, 11-bath mansion, Longoria’s also trying to sell her luxe Hollywood Hills compound for $14 million. The listing is held by Coldwell Banker.

A contemporary oasis of bright white walls and floor-to-ceiling windows, Longoria’s new digs are a fresh change from her just-listed European villa. The home boasts 11,000 square feet of high end finishes, as the original 1996 property was recently remodeled.

Visitors are greeted by a large two-story foyer, with the dome-shaped skylight as the focal point. Glass bannisters and a modern, semi-curved staircase give the grand entryway an almost museum-like feel. The home is decorated in a monochromatic palette, with black and white accents.

In the kitchen, Longoria will enjoy top-of-the-line appliances from Wolf-Subzero that occupy both the main space and separate staff kitchen and prep area. White marble counters, backlit cabinets, and oversized windows provide the space with tons of natural light and a killer view of the hills. Off to the side sits a breakfast room with large glass doors that open to the lush outdoor gardens, as well as a wine storage and tasting area.

The master suite exudes some serious luxury with more breathtaking views of the valley, along with a built-in fireplace including both a private den and bar area.

Step out of the sliding glass doors into an outdoor entertainment haven, complete with a built-in bar and barbecue, large pool, and lit tennis court.

Formerly residing in the primarily residential area of Hollywood Hills, Longoria and her husband, José Bastón, will now live right in the center of all the LA action, with access to the upscale shopping, quaint cafes, and five-star restaurants that are typical of the Beverly Hills area. Luckily for them, their new pad still features some jawdropping views, and they’re now equidistant from both the valley and the beach.
