Etsy is pretty much like Hogwarts’s Room of Requirement: It’s impossibly full of treasures and extremely easy to get lost in—and, if you search just so, it will present you with the exact thing you need, even if you had no idea it existed. Today we have a pretty good feeling that thing might be Sian Zeng’s magnetic dinosaur wallpaper.

That’s right: It’s wallpaper, printed with a dinosaur-filled toile, that can be transformed into a play station with the addition of matching dinosaur magnets. Alternatively, you can use it to hang magnetic shelves and hooks without having to take out your drill. It’s a design so good that it rightfully took home top honors in Etsy’s very first Global Design Awards, judged by Etsy’s trend expert Dayna Isom Johnson and a panel of six other judges (including Domino cover star Garance Doré and Schitt’s Creek cocreator Dan Levy).

If you’re not into the Jurassic period, Zeng does offer magnetic wallpaper in dino-free floral options. Plus, there are plenty of other amazing Design Awards runners-up to put on your radar. Among the finalists are Brutalist planters, a mid-century–style doghouse, stucco pendant lamps, and a ceramic Yves Klein Blue wall sculpture. These are discoveries well worth the hunt.
