Good design comes down to more than just how things look—it’s emotional. It’s also highly personal and has the power to transport you. Especially during this uncertain time, design can make you feel things: serene or energized, social or contemplative, inspired, creative. That’s why this week Domino is launching Design Time, a new podcast that explores the process of creating spaces with meaning and the journey to get there.

Who better to kick off our first season than Domino’s Summer issue cover star? In our debut episode, interior design legend Kelly Wearstler talks about the elements of creating a home that feels like you. Tune in on July 2 to discover how Wearstler shops for vintage, the color combination she can’t get enough of, and how she prioritizes creativity in her workday (mornings are her “nirvana”).

Each week, Domino editor-in-chief Jessica Romm Perez will invite a creative in our community to share strategies for designing a thoughtful space—from mood-boosting lighting ideas to insider rental-renovation tricks. Because choosing the perfect shade of green or investing in a statement sofa can be intimidating. We’re here to guide you through it, one episode at a time.

Subscribe on Spotify or your favorite podcast platform to be the first to hear each episode every Thursday.
