Celine Dion’s finally sold her sprawling Jupiter Island estate for the mind-boggling price of $38.5 million—and it’s no surprise why. Built in 2010, the 18,800-square-foot, custom-built home boasts 13 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. It’s located about 25 miles north of Palm Beach, and the entire estate occupies five and a half acres of property, which allows breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Of course, with Dion being the superstar that she is, the house just wouldn’t be complete without some crazy, out-there features that are only fit for a reigning diva. Like, for example, a mini spa, complete with a massage table and straw fixtures, reminiscent of an exotic Thailand getaway.
There is not one, but three pools, each one boasting its own distinct feature, such as a water slide and play area, a bonfire pit, and a pavilion. There’s even a tennis court and separate guest house, along with a simulated golf range.
The design is unfussy, but still kind of opulent, with stark white walls, glass and metal accents, and lots of rich fabrics. The living room naturally faces the ocean.
Similarly grand is the den, which looks like the ideal place to Netflix binge (does Celine Dion binge?), with white shag carpeting and a couch-bed situation with a sea of pillows—we count at least 24.
In the master bedroom, Dion got creative. Obviously the bed needs to face the ocean, but then where to put the TV? On the ceiling, of course. The listing doesn’t specify, but it appears that the TV box can be lowered from the ceiling for easier viewing.
The master bathroom is all sleek styles and glass touches, with a luxe, free-standing tub and a mirrored sink. There’s also a Philippe Starck ghost chair in the shower, because, hey, divas can’t sit on regular ol’ benches.
