It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, we don’t mean the holidays. Or National Ice Cream Day. Today is Prime Day, alternatively known as the day where it’s ok to spend your entire paycheck on frivolities like heated planters because they’re on super sale. With deals in literally every department, Amazon’s massive yearly sale event isn’t one to miss—and it seems that the powers that be have listened to our pleas, because this year’s Prime Day spans a full day and a half.

Starting at 3pm EST on July 16, Prime customers can shop the discounts online. Select deals are even available to shop in person, at Whole Foods Market, Amazon Books, and Amazon pop-up locations nationwide. And while the event includes a wide range of brands, Amazon’s in-house lines and products, such as Stone & Beam furniture or the Amazon Alexa, are even more on sale.

This year, there are over a million of those deals available… and so, for those who aren’t interested in calling in sick to spend a full day combing through the products on sale, we’ve narrowed down your search. Here are the best Prime Day deals to cash in on now, curated by room. Happy shopping.

KITCHEN

Given that appliances are a big category for discounts on Prime Day, this is your chance to revamp your kitchen with the most up-to-date gadgets. With 30 percent off select Kenmore refrigerators, ranges, washers and dryers and 20 percent off AmazonBasics brand appliances, there’s a lot to choose from. Smaller kitchen essentials, like a set of three cast iron skillets and a set of silicone and acacia wood cooking utensils, are also purported to be seriously discounted, so keep an eye out for the little blue “Prime Day” tag while you peruse the kitchen section.

Cooking aficionados, aspiring and expert alike, have a lot to look forward to in the discounted cookbook section; Domino favorite Alison Roman’s Dining In is one definitely worth checking out. You can even get food discounted. Specific AmazonFresh staples will be going on sale for 30 percent off. Kick off your week by taking care of your grocery list—potentially your most productive shopping spree ever.

BEDROOM

Whether you want to completely revamp your bedroom essentials by picking up some new furniture or just want a quick seasonal refresh, Amazon has you covered. In-house

furniture brands

Rivet and Stone & Beam are offering up to 30 percent off on select products—plus, both lines are launching new items in honor of Prime Day. Our favorites include this rainbow-hued throw blanket and this mid-century geometric print pillow.

Prime Day is also a good time to update those household essentials you re-purchase sporadically, starting with your mattress. Bed-in-a-box brand Tuft & Needle is offering 20 percent off its mattresses—a big saving when you consider how expensive these things usually are. For a smaller update, pick up these sturdy wooden hangers to streamline and organize your closet once and for all.

BATHROOM

Admittedly not the most exciting room to shop for, but don’t sleep on the opportunity to ameliorate your bathroom. This newly discounted bamboo bathtub tray is the perfect way to make your space feel a bit more lux, and it’s an accessory that no bath enthusiast should go without. Add storage to your tiny bathroom with a set of three wall shelves ideal for displaying your favorite beauty products… not to mention making that perfect bathroom shelfie a newfound real possibility.

Speaking of beauty products, these reusable microfiber makeup removing towels are 28 percent off—makeup junkies, take note. And dermatologist-recommended skincare brand La Roche Posay will be offering up to 30 percent off select products.

LIVING ROOM

In addition to the aforementioned furniture sales on Rivet and Stone & Beam, plenty of other living room furniture brands sell on Amazon and have great Prime Day deals. This simple upholstered loveseat is 20 percent off, currently retailing for $247.99. One of our favorite easy-to-assemble furniture brands, Campaign, is also offering 20 percent off on select products like this navy loveseat. Keep your living space tidy with an Alexa-friendly robotic vacuum cleaner at just under $200—significantly cheaper than a Roomba and just as beloved by Amazon reviewers.

And of course, don’t miss the incredible tech deals that Prime Day is primarily known for. Select Smart Home products are up to 40 percent off—for example, the Echo Dot is now only $29.99.

OUTDOORS

It may be a little too late in the year to start refurbishing your patio space, but Amazon’s deals make the case for investing in outdoor essentials you’ll be able to use for summers to come. Save 30 percent or more on a smart sprinkler controller to keep your greens looking and feeling fresh in the heat.

A portable tabletop grill, ideal for small space dwellers, is included in the ranks of new Prime Day launches and retails for just $159.99. And try this set of solar string lights to spruce up a balcony or patio and create a more welcoming environment for your next al fresco get together.
