If there’s one thing that we can confidently say we share with Amanda Seyfried, it’s her love for ceramics. Like us, the Mamma Mia actress relishes the hunt for stylish vases in which to store inspired florals. Also, like us, Seyfried finds some of her best gems on—where else?—Etsy.

Seyfried’s latest discovery? Charming ceramic planters by Montreal-based ceramicist Julie Richard. “Sweet Etsy find,” the star wrote on Instagram, showing a grid of four tiny, whimsical planters—each filled with adorable succulents. Seyfried’s highlights included planters in the shape of a VW Westfalia camper, a green vintage pickup, retro TV set, and—our favorite—a bedroom dresser.

If these nostalgic vessels don’t bring an instant smile to your face, we don’t know what will.

We’re guessing it was the sweet and pint-size nature of Richard’s planters that captured Seyfried’s attention. With a focus on cheery hues and retro scenes—her pieces range from an itty-bitty yellow submarine to a lopsided antique sofa—her darling creations jog specific memories of snacking on watermelon in the summer sun or popping by a quaint French cafe.

“My inspiration comes from my desire to bring a little happiness around me and share the joy that I have to create,” Richard writes on her Etsy profile. Always pictured with teeny greenery sprouting from their tops, Richard’s vessels are perfectly fitting for cacti and succulents like jade, aloe vera, burro’s tail, and bunny cactus.

It also turns out that Seyfried loves a deal as much as she loves her succulents—Richard’s pieces all check out in the $30 range. Here are three petite (celebrity-approved) planters we’re adding to our Etsy cart ASAP.

This teeny boutique will return your beloved plant back to its origins—and look good doing it.

There’s little we love more than a bedroom filled with plants. Suffice it to say, this furniture-inspired find will feel right at home on the nightstand—or, more appropriately—the dresser.

You know that cross-country road trip you’ve been meaning to take? This happy pink VW is the excuse you’ve been looking for to pack up and leave.

Richard isn’t the first rad ceramicist Seyfried has shared with her followers. Last year the actress introduced us to San Diego–based studio Tiny Badger Ceramics’ pastel-colored vases. We can’t wait to see what she uncovers next.
