Hair blowout mecca Drybar, which has 72 locations nationwide, has reinvented quick and affordable hair styling—and they show no signs of slowing down. Lately, founder Alli Webb has been extra busy with the release of her ode to the blow dry, The Drybar Guide to Good Hair For All.
We checked in with the LA-based entrepreneur, who’s turned the hairstyling business on its side, to see how she winds down on the weekends and what she does in order to reset for the week ahead.
What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Sleep in! My kids are just at the age where they actually sleep in, which is kind of life-changing when you’re a night owl like me! After that, it’s straight to the coffee machine, then the porch. On Sundays, we walk to the Farmer’s Market, which is one of my very favorite errands.
What are your favorite things to do for yourself on the weekends?
I love getting facials, shopping, getting my nails done at Olive & June, long—not rushed—workouts at Tracy Anderson, and good ole fashioned lounging with my family.
How do you deal when you’re away for the weekend?
It’s definitely harder to get away. It depends where I am, but it usually involves seeking out the best local spas and restaurants.
What are the activities or errands on your “must-accomplish list” every weekend?
All of the above. Oh, and taking my dogs on walks!
What do you do on Sundays to prepare for the week ahead?
I look at my calendar for the week, so I’m prepared and make any tweaks necessary to my schedule.
