Ellen DeGeneres gets all the headlines, but there may be a new celebrity home flipper in town: Adam Levine. The singer and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, just listed their third home in two years, this time putting a Beverly Hills manse on the market. Slated for a casual $47.5 million, the 10,376-square-foot residence is the height of luxury. It even has a putting green.
While many will rightfully balk at the price tag, consider the fact that Levine and Prinsloo put the home through a $7 million renovation, so what we’re seeing is the culmination of an A lister–worthy designer as well as stunning architectural features that exude opulence. The celebrity-pedigree home (it used to belong to Will & Grace cocreator Max Mutchnick), while already spectacular, now includes a slew of contemporary updates.
First of all, the previously brick-red exterior is now a clean white, lending a bit of modern sophistication to the 1930s English Tudor. It’s the perfect backdrop to the immaculate grounds, which include a tennis court, a swimming pool, and tons of space for summer entertaining. Or, as they call it in sunny California, “entertaining.”
Inside, one of the biggest renovation projects was purportedly the kitchen. Per Variety, the main family kitchen got a mega-modern update: The space is now fully decked out with chef-grade amenities. There’s also a stainless-steel catering kitchen, which is the peak of industrial-chic. With intricate crown molding and sleek features (like brass light fixtures and matte black walls that seem perfectly in line with the singer’s cool personal style), the rest of the home is a blend of old-school elegance and urban modernity.
However, in terms of updates worth a $7 million price tag, we need to talk about the bathrooms. Entirely ensconced in marble, the master bath (part of a 2,000-square-foot master suite) features chic bronze sconce lighting and deep sinks that rival only Kim Kardashian West’s in terms of impressiveness. There’s a separate, similarly marble-laden bathroom whose sunny walk-in shower alone is a thing of beauty. It includes a built-in marble bench and is probably larger than most New York City apartments.
With a three-story main house and a separate guesthouse, the sprawling residence offers the best of Hollywood glamour. Head to Westside Estate Agency, which holds the listing, for more imagery.
