About the Artist:
Kurt Waldo was exposed to fine art through his parents interest and seeing some master works in various museums in Europe at a very early age. He studied both printmaking and painting at the California State University, Chico. Kurt is influenced most by the Impressionist, Fauvist and Abstract Expressionist movements, but fell in love with the Abstract Expressionists. His works are non-representational paintings, leaving the observer to interpret/react/respond to each one on an individual/personal level, and they are to be enjoyed as part of a setting.
