ABC Carpet & Home is a design lover's dream when it comes to furniture and decor shopping. The vast, multi-level shopping haven is full of inspiration at every turn, from textured Turkish rugs and Indian silk pillows to on-trend ceramic dinnerware and handmade textiles from local New York artisans. (We’re particularly loving the company’s latest Sacred Feminine Collection, highlighting a handful of talented female makers and designers.) However, the one-of-a-kind finds come at a price, meaning that ABC is not exactly budget-friendly.
But if you’re looking to give your home a spring refresh and live in or around New York City, you’re in luck: The treasure-filled retailer is having one of the biggest blowout sales of its history, with up to 85 percent off everything you could want. Yes, literally everything—furniture, rugs, bedding, bath, kitchen, jewelry, apparel, decor, vintage, and even wellness. Called the “4th Floor Unprecedented Sale,” the event is taking place to help the store downsize, as ABC sold off a portion of its space in December.
While you'll save big even if you only buy one thing, the more you buy, the more you’ll save. Currently, the discounts are as follows:
Spend over $1,000, take off an extra $200
Spend over $2,500, take off an extra $600
Spend over $5,000, take off an extra $1,250
Spend over $7,500, take off an extra $2,100
Spend over $10,000, take off an extra $3,000
As of right now, the sale is only in-store at the flagship in NYC until Tuesday, May 15, but don’t despair: There’s an online sale going on as well. Granted, the discounts might not be as steep, but the sale is still pretty substantial. Rugs are selling for 80 percent off, perfect for a quick living room refresh—several globally inspired patterns are on display—while gorgeous statement lighting starts at $113, with most pieces being at least half off.
If it’s furniture you’re after, there’s some of that on the site, too. You'll find stylish ottomans and leather accent chairs for home offices and living rooms alike. So, no matter whether you’re looking to change up your style entirely for spring or just want to elevate a few simple items, there’s a way you can do so without much of a dent in your budget—and isn’t that the best kind of purchase?
