This sophisticated non-alcoholic punch couples old-time Blenheim ginger ale and tart pomegranate juice, with a roasted-walnut garnish.

Ingredients (Serves 6)
  • 1 bottle pomegranate juice
  • 1 six-pack of Blenheim mild ginger ale
  • 24 walnut halves
Directions
  • Roast walnuts in oven at 450 F with a little vegetable oil and salt. You'll want them to be a light golden, about 6 minutes. Pour equal amounts cold pomegranate juice and cold Blenheim mild ginger ale into a chilled punch glass. Just before serving, add 3 roasted walnut halves to glass. (The garnish is a play on the Southern tradition of dropping roasted, salted peanuts into a bottle of Coke.)
