Bright and light, a fouta is a textile derivative of the traditional hammam towels of Turkey and North Africa. The foutas are made of lightweight cotton and rolled up tightly — perfect for tucking in a bag and taking with you. Plus, they’re as absorbent as traditional terry-cloth towels and dry quickly, too. The versatile fouta is also used as a throw, tablecloth, blanket or shawl. The Fouta towels in this collection are made of 100% natural cotton, and are woven by a collective of women artisans, using traditional techniques and ancient hand-looms, in the Mediterranean region of Sousse, Tunisia.
Wash twice in cold water and low tumble to dry before use.
