Eva Chen, Lucky’s new editor in chief, needed a work space as stylish and informed as her readers. With a little help from Lauren and Suzanne McGrath, she got an office for cool concentration that looks as hot as her trend forecasts.
Chen balances bold prints with streamlined silhouettes in both her wardrobe and her office. The low settee is upholstered in a laid-back Schumacher linen.

An understated white desk topped with a Christopher Spitzmiller lamp is given a playful twist when surrounded by colorful accents. The vibrant Schumacher ikat covering a pair of seats by Hickory Chair faintly echoes the Margaret Lanzetta artwork in the background.

Chen loves the functionality of this shelf ledge, great for displaying art and inspirational items, like the 1970 photograph of Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg.
Chen fell for this sky-blue sofa (upholstered in a Knoll Luxe cotton), which counters the neon chaos of Times Square below.
Chen is a self-described “perpetual bookworm,”
with a love for all things print.
