Hello there, I´m Gitte from Copenhagen. You can find my instafeed at @gittechristensen I work as an interior stylist and designer. I enjoy my hometown city Copenhagen very much. So many beautiful buildings and cozy spaces. I have collected some tips for you. Copenhagen is best seen by bike, we have the best bikelanes and even bridges only for bikes. So remember to rent a bike, when you visit here.

Wullf & Constali: Select your own breakfast menu in a cozy designerspace. You select 5 or 7 dishes and get great coffe or tea here as well. You can buy freshbaked bread and juices to go as well. Beware of long lines in the weekend. Wulff & Constali is very close to Amager beach, so a visit here can easily be combined with a long walk there.

Magstræde: One of the oldest street in Copenhagen and very instagrammed, with good reason. It has lovely colours of the houses in a row. Take a walk down this little street… If you get hungrig Gorm´s Pizza is highly recommendable as well. Enjoy.

Circlebridge Theres is a lot of bike bridges in Copenhagen. This one opened this summer and has beautiful lines, I think. Its designed by danish artist Olafur Eliasen. Its a great walk or bikeride from ChristiansHavn to Islandsbrygge along the waterside

Cactus Copenhagen Copenhagen has got a whole shop dedicated to only selling cactusses, it has really cute interior with lots of cactusse and posters with plant art, and sweet danish girls at the counter.

Cinnober shop My favorite bookstore in Copenhagen, a great curated shop with design and art books and magazines. Very inspiring to take a look in that space, and it´s very close to the famous sight Rundetårn, where you can walk all the up to get a great look down at Copenhagen.

Kastrup Søbad The snail as it is called by the locals is my favorite spot in my neighbourhood by the beach. I love it for all seasons. It´s designed in a shape as a seashell and gives shelter for the wind.

Atelier September White nordic styled café in the city center of Copenhagen – they are instagram famous for the “avocado on ryebread” and matcha tea. A cool spot and a nice break from citylife.

Stedsans Clean simple Local Rooftop urban garden restaurant, you dine at a long table in a greenhouse in the middle of all the growing greens. And the food is made from locally sourced produce and prepared in a very simple kitchen behind the greenhouse.
