Water stored in pure copper absorbs all of the positive properties of the metal, and will not become stale, even when stored for long periods of time. In fact, according to Ayurveda, water stored in a copper container has the ability to balance all the three doshas in your body. This water is known as ‘tamara jal’ and is best consumed after having been in the copper vessel for at least eight hours.
